MOBIUS.INTERCOM

Make the handoff explicit

Shared work needs more than another chat window.

Public brief · September 2026 · Product capabilities remain in development.

01 / The problem

An agent can finish a task and still lose the handoff.

Parallel work creates questions of ownership: who is responsible, what was decided, what still needs attention, and whether the intended recipient actually understood the request.

02 / The intended outcome

A shared record of work and decisions.

Intercom is the coordination component of MOBIUS Core. Its role is to connect specialists with explicit identities, addressed work and durable institutional context.

03 / The flow

Address → read → respond → preserve.

A message is addressed to the responsible role. The recipient reads it, responds or records why it is deferred. Decisions and outstanding work have their own records rather than living only in a transient conversation.

04 / The boundary

Delivery is not completion.

A delivered message does not prove comprehension, a response does not prove implementation, and a closed record does not prove the running system changed. Each boundary needs its own evidence.

05 / The relationship

Coordinate the present. Preserve the past.

Intercom carries responsibility and coordination. Anamnesis supports longer-term recall. Bridge manages the sessions doing the work. These are complementary responsibilities, not interchangeable stores.

06 / Development status

Operating internally.

This component is part of the internal engineering environment. Integration, customer-facing setup and support are still in development. Internal use must not be read as an independently available commercial product.
